How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project?
Understanding about interactive multimedia?

My understanding about the topic has increased because before this I dont really know about Malay traditional games even tough I am Malay. Because it is really not worth it to buy the books about this topic. So through this website, I can learn not just about the Wau, I also can learn about gasing, sepak takraw and congkak under one place and it is free. In addition, I understand about the basic things that we need to know before we play the games, how to make and also the history to make me understand more deeply. So, in future, I can share my knowledge about the Malay traditional games with my friends.

I more understand about how one particular website works after doing the project. I also understand how the photoshop, dreamweaver and flash works after play around with the tools.

What were the problems faced since proposal 2? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

There are several problems that we faced to do this website. But the major problem is when we want to do the drop-down menu but we is is hard to do even tough we have followed the tutorial video that have been given by the Miss who replaced Dr Neo during last tutorial class. So we changed our plan to do the button by use the image of each games. It look more simple but in other way it look nice too.

What will you do differently next time?

I will put more flash to attract the audience because our target audience is children. it also make the website become more interactive.


How is your motivation level?

My motivation level was very high because I can learn something new in my life that i never know before this. I always do the calculation subject since I taking the Degree in Finance.
So, it is quite boring. So everytimes I enter the digital media class, I always enjoy myself to learn something new in my life. So, this keep my motivation level in good level.

How was working with your group and group leader?

I am very pleased to team with Nabila, Sara and Sheriena for their cooperation in the best and
most satisfying one when we do the work successfully completed before the date of submission without any fighting between the group. Thank you very much to all of them

How was it working on the project?

It was great even tough it is outside my knowledge because so far I only expert in the calculation only. so, I enjoy all my time when I doing the project because it is something new to me,
and this something new is really fun!


Personal evaluation of your own effort and that of your team

I'll just keep this pretty short I guess.
Below is a list of strengths I believe my paper possesses :

• I think my website is decently organized.
• I feel I have developed a quality website even tough it simple.
• A lot of content in my website.
• The website did what it was supposed to do. It showed the reader what the content were, showed all the content, and educated the reader. I learned a lot from doing this project.

Ideation of an aspect of Malaysian culture

Cultures have been meeting and mixing in Malaysia since the very beginning of its history.There is lot of races in Malaysia with different cultures. So, in my website i will do traditional games in Malay cultures which is playing Wau. Much of Malaysian leisure time is occupied by elaborate competitions. Wau is a favorite among participants and spectators alike. Wau, are painstakingly designed and crafted in vibrant colors and patterns.

Nowadays, a lot of young people forgot and dont know our traditional games. They are not exposed by this traditional. We cannot blame them because there is only minority people who really take part to exposed the traditional games such as Kementerian Perpaduan, Kebudayaan, Kesenian dan Warisan Malaysia. Furthermore, they prefer the modern games such as digimon, PSP, Play Station and many more without knowing the traditonal games deeply and the idea of the games.

So, in this website,i will explain to the viewers


Objectives of the area

So, in this website, i will explain a lot of information about Wau. i will categorize all my information by button. This make my viewers easy to understand and look more simple but effective. i will explain the history, types and myths about the Wau. This make the viewers interested to know the Wau more deeply.

Next i will make the other topic. It is about how to make the Wau, how to play the Wau. Through this topic, viewer can simply understand and they can make their own wau by learnig it under this topic.

Lastly, i will put the related pictures and videos


Target audience and research about the target audience

As we discussed before,our target audience are children and young people in Malaysia. We also targeted to foreigner who want to know more about our malay traditional games. So, i decided to make a website that have more vibrant colors and lot of pictures to make it easy to our target audience to use and easy to understand because we know that children can easy to understand if the website are interesting and everything is simple but full of conten. I also want they feel like want to play the games after they browsing my part.
